Track 01 of THROTTLE '26. 16 hours, overnight, one scoreboard.
Web, crypto, OSINT, forensics and reverse engineering. It starts gentle and gets mean somewhere around the middle. Nobody on your team needs to know all five. One of you being stubborn about one of them usually gets you further.
> TEAM_SIZE: 3-4
> DURATION: 16 HRS
> VENUE: NEW CANTEEN, RSET
> PRIZE_POOL: Rs 20,000
Flag format
Flags look like BKNCTF{s0me_text_here}. Copy it exactly as you found it,
braces and all. Capitals don't matter, we check without case.
If a flag won't go through, look for a trailing space before you decide the challenge is broken. It's a trailing space more often than it's the challenge.
Rules
Stay on the challenges. Going after CTFd, the scoreboard, other teams or anything else on the venue network gets you sent home.
No brute forcing or mass scanning unless a challenge tells you to. If your tooling knocks the platform over, you have ended the night for everyone in the room, yourself included.
Keep flags and solutions inside your team until scoring closes.
Hints cost points. Take one anyway when you are stuck. The points are cheaper than an hour of getting nowhere.
We settle scoring disputes and what we say goes.
Stuck?
Ask someone. There are volunteers on the floor all night and asking is not cheating. Four hours of guessing at the same challenge does not teach you anything, it is just four hours.
